Bay City Texas Country Club

Home Page

Nestled beneath towering ancient oaks in the heart of the Gulf Coast in beautiful Bay City Texas, the adventurous person will find The Bay City Country Club.  This private club was established in 1950 for the purpose of providing a facility where families can enjoy quality food and service, fellowship, recreation and fun.

The Club’s golf course is a golfer’s paradise where a game or tournament can be found. Also, this location is prime for a private party, intimate or family dinner, or a dip in the Olympic sized swimming pool. A lighted outdoor tennis court is currently being renovated to provide players with the opportunity for their best game ever.  The clubhouse is available to members for large events such as weddings, anniversary parties, and community events.  The catering services of our local chef are renowned and no request is too large or small.

New wind screens on our tennis courts !

Many of you may have noticed the new royal blue tennis screens on the tennis courts. The screens were graciously donated by long-time Country Club members, Jim & Diana Frankson and Dr. Raju & Dr. Sebastion, for better playing conditions and enhancement of the Country Club grounds in honor of the 75th Anniversary. Special thanks to Erik and Patti Frankson and Preston Williams for helping to install the screens.

An organizational meeting for women tennis players (all levels) will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 5:30 pm at the courts. Dress for tennis and bring a can of tennis balls. For information, contact Diana Frankson at or 979-244-6155.
